We are pleased to announce that RepeatDx will be exhibiting at the PFF Summit 2021. After a very positive experience at the last PFF Summit in 2019, we are looking forward to joining the PFF Summit 2021, November 8-13, participating in the virtual exhibit hall.
The Summit is the PFF’s sixth biennial health care conference on pulmonary fibrosis (PF). The goal of the Summit is to “foster collaboration that will help enhance patient care and stimulate research that will lead to better treatments for pulmonary fibrosis.”
PF is a growing area of focus for RepeatDx, the leading clinical diagnostic laboratory specializing in telomere length testing.
Studies have shown that leukocyte telomere length is independently associated with survival outcomes for PF patients. There are benefits to measuring the telomere length of patients with PF, including improving disease course prediction. In addition, telomere length can guide treatment choices, including lung transplantation timing and post-transplant care, both of which are active areas of clinical research.
Ultimately, providing information on telomere length measurements to doctors and individuals with PF can help them to make better-informed choices about treatments.
The virtual Summit has been designed to immerse attendees in an environment that promotes education, interaction, and networking. The Summit will run from 8 – 13 November 2021 and the program is available here.
RepeatDx is proud to support the important work of the PFF and will have an exhibit booth in the virtual exhibit hall for the duration of the Summit.
The team is looking forward to talking to patients, clinicians and researchers about the role that telomere length measurement can play in the diagnosis and treatment of PF.
