Update: RepeatDx and COVID-19

On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization classified COVID-19 as a pandemic. While the risk in North Vancouver, British Columbia remains low, we are taking all available precautions to ensure the health and safety of our employees and partners as our utmost priority.

To ensure samples reach us in a timely manner we recommend using FedEx International Priority. As of March 26 UPS has suspended their Service Guarantee.

We continue to receive blood samples for telomere testing from around the world and have all necessary measures in place to enable us to maintain our usual high levels of quality and service. To date there have been no known cases of transmission of COVID-19 from blood samples. Nevertheless, our laboratory has the highest quality safety equipment and we follow the most rigorous professional guidelines.

Whilst we are actively monitoring the evolving situation, we want to reassure you that we are operating as usual. Our team of highly qualified laboratory technologists are well prepared and have protocols in place to ensure the continuity of safe and efficient telomere testing. At the current time we do not anticipate having to interrupt our services at any stage due to COVID-19.

We know that the telomere length measurements we provide are invaluable for physicians to support the diagnosis and treatment planning for patients affected by telomere biology disorders and related conditions. We remain committed to providing the reliable, accurate and timely telomere length testing that we have been delivering to physicians around the world for almost 15 years.

Thank you for your understanding. We will continue to monitor the situation and will share further updates as necessary.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss further, please do contact us.
