
Prof. Dr. Tim Brümmendorf is Head of the Department of Hematology and Oncology at the University Hospital Aachen in Aachen, Germany. He is founder and current director of the Euregional Comprehensive Cancer Center Aachen (ECCA).
Prof Brümmendorf has a long-standing experience in clinical research in chronic myeloid leukaemia, myeloproliferative neoplasms, aplastic syndromes and selected solid tumors such as head-and-neck cancer. He served as investigator in numerous clinical Phase I-IV trials including trials investigating Imatinib, Nilotinib, Dasatinib, Danusertib and Bosutinib in CML.
He has published numerous research papers on hematopoietic stem cell biology, leukemogenesis and telomere biology in journals such as the Journal of Experimental Medicine, the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Leukemia and Blood. Professor Brümmendorf is married with three children.
